Textworks Translations ist ein Netzwerk von über 200 internationalen promovierten Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaftlern, die Ihre Texte fach- und sprachsensibel übersetzen und lektorieren. Unsere Mitarbeiter haben ihre Promotionen unter anderem an den Universitäten von Oxford, Cambridge und am University College London erworben. Zusammen können sie einige tausend Publikationen in Fachzeitschriften und hunderte Buchveröffentlichungen vorweisen.

Anja Löbert erwarb einen Magisterabschluss in Soziologie, Medienwissenschaft und Anglistik an der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg (Deutschland) und studierte Popular Music Studies in Liverpool (Großbritannien).
Sie publiziert selbst auf dem Gebiet der Kulturwissenschaft (u.a. bei Routledge, Taylor & Francis, Cambridge University Press, Büchner Verlag) und als freie Journalistin (Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung, ZEIT Online, u.v.m.).
Im Jahr 2006 gründete sie Textworks Translations, um deutschsprachige Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler dabei zu unterstützen, sich mit ihren Arbeiten bestmöglich international zu positionieren.

Dr. Timothy Wise ist englischer Muttersprachler. Er erwarb Masterabschlüsse in Englischer Literatur, Englisch als Fremdsprache sowie Popular Music Studies und promovierte im Fach Musik. Seit 2003 arbeitet er als Senior Lecturer für Musikwissenschaft an der School of Arts & Media der University of Salford (Großbritannien). Neben seiner eigenen Forschungstätigkeit gibt er Sammelbände heraus und begutachtet Beiträge für verschiedene Fachzeitschriften.
Bei Textworks Translations ist Timothy Wise für die Sicherung der Qualitätsstandards englischsprachiger Texte verantwortlich und lektoriert selbst gelegentlich die Manuskripte unserer Kunden.
